chocolate chip overnight oats

If you’re looking for a new breakfast go-to, these peanut butter chocolate chip overnight oats would be it!

Why Overnight Oats?

Overnight oats are a great breakfast choice thanks to their awesome health benefits. They are high in fiber and packed with so many more nutritional benefits. The high fiber food leaves you feeling full longer and even helps even out your digestive tract. Not only are overnight oats good for the nutritional benefits, but they are also just a dang good way to start your morning! I mean, you prep them in the evening so that is less time you are spending in the kitchen in the morning. For me, that means more time in bed.

How to Make Overnight Oats

We’ll get into my peanut butter chocolate chip overnight oats recipe in a sec, but overnight oats is a pretty basic recipe that you can adjust with the simple framework! Basic overnight oats are pretty much oats soaked in liquid overnight of which you can add a variety of flavors (like peanut butter and chocolate).

– 1 (pint size) jar with lid – ½ cup old fashioned rolled oats – ½ cup oat milk (or milk of your choice) – ⅛ teaspoon mineral salt – 1 teaspoon monkfruit sweetener (or sweetener of your choice) – 1 heaping tablespoon natural peanut butter – 1 heaping tablespoon sugar-free chocolate chips

1. Mix all ingredients together in jar and seal tightly. 2. Place in the refrigerator overnight. 3. Eat cold or remove the lid and microwave for about 1 minute to eat warm.
