Okay y’all. I started talking about how important making the bed is for me as a stay at home mom, and the room detail requests started pouring in. So I sat down, went through receipts and am going to share a huge round up posts. This page will be static, meaning you can always come back to it.
As I change things in the room, I’ll make sure to come back and edit! This space isn’t wholly completed yet, and I didn’t “style” anything for photos. So keep that in mind! But for now, we love it as is. I won’t be using ANY filters on these, so you can see the true color of everything. This means the whites in the room look a little dingy from the iPhone photos, but I digress…

Wall color:
Sherwin Williams SW 0064 Blue Peacock. It’s the MOST beautiful blue green color and is such a chameleon. I love the depth and warmness it brings to the room.
On The Walls:
From left to right:
Zach has this thing with skulls. The top Gold Cast Metal Steer Head Skull was a full price find, but we’ve had it for 2+ years now and it’s a tank. The second goat / ram skull was a clearance find, and looks like it’s sold out. BUT this Gazelle Head is super similar. As is this Steer Head Skull!
Newborn posters: every time I post about these, you guys go gaga for them! These BEAUTIFUL minimalistic newborn baby posters are one of my favorite things in the house. They have been gracious enough to offer you all a special discount. Use code “muchmostdarling” to save 15% and get free shipping!
Crochet Round Wall Hanging: This was another clearance find, unfortunately. BUT click here to shop some of my favorite affordable macrame dreamcatcher wall hangings! I always wait until the store does their categories sales or sends out coupons. They always have the best, most unusual and unique pieces!
Hats:
First off, we hung my hats on the wall with these Bamboo Ikea SKUGGIS Hooks. Just an FYI, they’re only like $6 at Ikea. BUT they’re not available online… so Amazon or a road trip are in order.
Top row, from left: First, an inexpensive yet perfect Wool braid-band fedora. Second, a Structured Brim Felt Panama Hat. I have this in a light washed blue and a washed olive color, which is the second hat in the second row below.
Bottom row, from left: The Emma Ultra Stiff Felt Hat is one of my very favorites! I wore it in my Date Night Ideas blog post I you want to get an idea of how incredible it is on.
Bedframe:
It’s called the “Novogratz Bushwick Metal Bed” and is only $143! This same frame is also offered at the following retailers: (I just kept an eye out for when it went on the best price. We paid $121 during a Hayneedle flash sale!)
Walmart, currently priced at $143.
Joss & Main, currently priced at $162.
Wayfair, currently priced at $184.27
Bedding:
Duvet cover: Target! However, it did sell out. It was the “Gray Woven Duvet Cover Set (King) 3-pc – Nate Berkus™” and we got it for a steal on Black Friday. We are in the process of getting a new duvet cover, so I’ll keep you updated on that.
Oversized bed pillows: Target! On those end racks where they put all the clearance goodies. I haven’t been able to find these exact ones yet. But I’ll keep on the hunt!

Lighting:
Floor lamp: We saw this Oak Wood Tripod Floor Lamp with brass detailing and fell in love. So much so we actually bought two so we could have one in the living room, too! It *does* come with an energy efficient lightbulb, which I really liked! And it just so happens to match our ceiling light, too.
Nightstands:
So Zach just so happened to be in Utah when Ikea released one of its new collections. I stumbled upon these HJÄRTELIG Nightstand in pine and black and was OBSESSED. Plus, they’re $39.99 so super affordable. And would make for a great project if you wanted to hack or upcycle them!
Floor Rug:
My husband saw this 8×10(ish) Creselle Cafe Au Lait Shag rug online and fell in love. I wasn’t sure about it, but I’m glad I listened to him (for once, ha). The texture is AMAZING and I love the dimension it gives. The Creselle Cafe Au Lait Shag Rug is available at the following retailers:
Chair:
This Carlo Mid-Century Chair is probably one of our favorite things in the house. We saw it in store, sat down, and didn’t want to get up. It’s SO COMFY. The deep Olive color in the worn velvet fabric is incredible. It cleans up really easily, which is super necessary with the boys. And I just love it.
White + Yellow Accent pillow: So this was definitely bought for the living room. BUT when we put it on the Carlo, there was no going back. My exact pillow is sold out. HOWEVER. There are a ton of super similar options here:
Pillow 1 // Pillow 2 // Pillow 3 // Pillow 4
Floor Pouf:
OF COURSE the floor pouf we have is sold out. I found it at West Elm Boise for something crazy like 70% off. It was supposed to go in the boys’ room, but Zach brought it into our room a few weeks ago and now it’s not going anywhere. It’s the perfect foot stool when we’re reading or working on the chair. But is also comfy to read to the boys on. And just so happens to provide an awesome launch when the boys turn into rockets, ha.
While my particular floor pouf is sold out, check out these ones HERE and HERE. SO CUTE! And so many affordable options!
PHEW. Okay guys, I think that’s it. *If* you have any other questions about anything else, let me know in the comments below!
