Hi all! The response to my call out asking if anyone would be interested in a “Sisterhood of the traveling pants” type of situation for Dr. Jessica Zucker’s memoir “I had a miscarriage” was incredible. I not only had people offering to buy additional copies and cover postage but was also met with a resounding yes please to the idea.
Below you’ll find a very short google form. I am asking for you to fill out your first and last name, as well as provide your email address. And below that, I will include more information on Media Mail.

All information you give me for this will NOT be given out to anyone and will be kept confidential and under lock and key by me. I will ONLY use this information to get in touch with you when it’s your turn to receive the book. I will NOT add you to my email list, I will NOT sell or give this information to ANYONE at ANY TIME. Literally, no one will know you added your name to this list. The only time your name will come up is if you are comfortable with me sharing it for mailing purposes. And if you’d rather the sender not know, I will make sure I handle the shipping on my end in the strictest confidence. How this “I Had a Miscarriage” community will work:
Between myself and this community, we will send out at least 5 copies of the book. When you are done reading Dr. Zucker’s memoir, all I ask is that you get in touch with me. I will coordinate with you and the next person in line to send your copy to its new home.
I suggest using USPS Media Mail, as it is notably less expensive than any other mailing provider or option I’ve found. If you create your label online, you can do this for as little as $2.10, or in-person at your post office for as low as $2.89.
A few of you reached out to ask if you could do something special when it’s your turn to send the book on. OF COURSE! Feel free to sign the inside of the book, leave a note, add a letter with the book – whatever your heart desires. My only request is you don’t do anything that damages the book, or renders any of Dr. Zucker’s writing unreadable.
By participating in this community “pass it on”, you are promising to send it on to the next person on the list. This means you agree to the under $5 price of shipping. For the mailer – feel free to recycle one you already have at home!
