It’s spooky season and my boys have been OBSESSED with my new easy Halloween monster slime. My neon green, googley-eyed monster slime is about to be a hit in your house too!
Halloween Party Monster Slime is Here!
What do you think you’re doing for Halloween this year? I’m still a bit undecided, but if we were having a huge Halloween party like I would love to, my easy Halloween monster slime would be the first thing I’d be putting together.
I won’t lie. I probably enjoy slime more than my boys do. Anyone else with me on that? There is something SO soothing about playing with slime for me. Plus it’s a lot less stressful than my toddler boys stretching it and worrying bits are going to get in the carpet or their hair.
New to the slime world? Here are some slime tips.
If you’re new to the world of slime, the first thing you should know is that there are many different types of slime. The go-to slime recipe that I see over and over is similar to the one I’m sharing today with a mix of Elmer’s glue and contact lens solution. My favorite kind, though, is made with shaving cream which makes for a cloud-like and fluffy slime.

How to Make Easy Halloween Monster Slime
Supplies:
- 6 oz. bottle of Elmer’s green glitter glue
- ½ tbsp baking soda
- 1 ¼ tbsp contact lens solution
- Googley eyes (variety of sizes)
- Mixing bowl
- Mixing spoon
- Plastic mat
Directions:
- Pour all of the glue into a mixing bowl.
- Add the baking soda and stir well.
- Stir in the contact solution.
- Stir the slime well. Then, knead the slime with your hands. Continue kneading until you get the desired consistency for the slime.
If your slime is too sticky, add in more contact solution (about ¼ tbsp at a time) until the slime is at the desired consistency that doesn’t leave residue on your fingers.
Place slime on a plastic mat for play time! Add in googley eyes for more fun.
Change up the colors for even more halloween monster slime fun! I bet some green, orange, and purple monster slime would be a HIT!
