Back in March, my family and I had the opportunity to do a Spring family maternity shoot on the beach. Brittney Saulque Photography was incredible from the get-go. She made us feel so comfortable from the second we met her! And despite J wanting nothing to do with pictures and H only wanting to play in the water, she was able to create serious magic for us.

Fun fact, Brittney and I have been following each other on Instagram for YEARS now. So when we moved to California and realized we’d be in the same state, I got super excited. Brittney just has such a beautiful eye when it comes to photography. The images that she captured for us are perfect. I feel like they are so ethereal, despite being on a majorly crowded beach. And they just show so much joy!

We headed over to the beach at the Santa Monica Pier for a super casual family maternity shoot. One of the coolest things? A seal came up at the end of the session!
