How I Found the Best Websites for Cheap Glasses
This is probably one of my most requested posts. You guys know I love a good deal! And my glasses are obviously a daily must-have. But with two young boys, accidents happen and frames break. No way am I shelling out big bucks for glasses right now. The last designer pair I bought: $364. Guess how long they lasted? THREE months.
Spending a lot on glasses just doesn’t make sense for this season of life. But that doesn’t mean I’m willing to sacrifice on quality! Here’s my biggest secret – you can get great glasses, for next to nothing. Thrifty mama’s high five all around.
Testing Out the Best Websites for Cheap Glasses
Many of these I have purchased from myself, but a few I have not. However, all of these sites came recommended to me from friends and other mom groups! If they had negative feedback on a particular online glasses shop, those retailers were not included.
You’ll find what price frames start, shipping information and who they have frames for. Feel free to add suggestions I may have missed below, or let me know any feedback!
Best Websites for Cheap Glasses
39DollarGlasses:
Start at $39 for women, men, and kids! Shipping is $4.95, or orders over $99 ship free. Tip on getting lens and frame sets for even cheaper: use code CART15 for 50% off (or it will take $15 off your total, whichever is greater). A pop-up should come across your screen for 50% off a second pair! Redeeming this, plus entering the CART15 took $30 off, which made my total $48 for two pairs!
Coastal:
A site I’ve been using since High School! Coastal was my first online ordering experience and there’s a reason I’ve ordered from them again and again. Complete lenses and frames start at $19 for women, men, and kids. Plus, shipping AND returns are FREE! They are always having sales, so make sure to check their coupon page! Use code BOGO to get 2 pairs for 1.
Discount Glasses:
Glasses start at just $19.95 for men, women, and kids. And get free shipping on orders over $50, or $5.95 otherwise. First-time customer? Get 40% off your order! Your personal code will be displayed at the top half of the screen. Discount codes: $15 off orders of $50 or more with code DEG15AF, or $5 off with code US15. Keep an eye out – I had a $10 off $30 offer pop up on my screen too!
Eyebuy Direct:
1200+ frames from $6 for women, men, and kids! EyeBuyDirect has a 2-week return policy and a 12-month product warranty. Plus you can virtually try on their styles with their EyeTry feature! And for every pair you purchase, one is donated to someone in need. Discount codes: use WELCOME for 15% off your entire order plus FREE shipping. Buy one get one free right now with code BOHO. And make sure to check their SALE page for extra discounts. Other codes to try: WELCOMEBOGO or EBD11.
Finest Glasses:
Super inexpensive glasses for men, women, and kids. Shipping is free for orders over $60 or starts at $5.85 for all other orders. Check out the cheap glasses section for glasses starting at under $9! And get your FREE glasses here. Not a large selection – at the current time there are 6 options. But hey – they’re free. If those particular free glasses don’t pique your interest, no worries. There are tons of options for inexpensive glasses across the site.
Firmoo:
Frames start at $8, and nothing is more expensive than $39! Shipping is free for orders over $39, or $5.95. Firmoo is one of the favorites I’ve been using since college. Their frames are super inexpensive, but hold up just as well, if not better than some of my designer glasses. They are ALWAYS doing sales. Like 2 pairs for $13.95 each, $4.95 for a pair of glasses for first-time customers, 50% off for new customers, and Buy One Get One Free!
Glasses Shop:
Frames start at $8 for women, men, and children! Shipping is free over $79 or $5.95 otherwise. GlassesShop is constantly doing sales – I never pay full price. Get your FIRST PAIR FREE with code FIRSTFREE. Or buy one get one free with code GSBOGO. Plus, check out their flash sale page, featuring glasses for 60% off and additional discounts on top of that.
GlassesUSA:
When you first visit the site, you’ll get a popup for 65% and free shipping – code is welcome65 or try WINTER65 if it’s not your first purchase. GlassesUSA has a wide range of prices for every budget. And I’m obsessed with the Muse x Hilary Duff line of glasses. PLUS, they also have an at-home try-on program! You get to borrow 2 pairs of glasses to try on in your own home, for 14 days. Only keep what you like, if you like it! Check out their sales and discounts page for their best current deals, like 60% off, buy one get one, and more!
Goggles4U:
Glasses are as low as $6.95 for women, men, and kids! Shipping starts at $5.95. Goggles4U has a huge selection of over 3,000 styles! And I like that they have a virtual try-on option, as well as a 360 frame viewer as well. When I pulled up their website today, they had a pop-up offer for “Your first pair for $9.90 Delivered”. They are always having discounts and sales, so never pay full price. Use discount code 30OFF for 30% off sitewide. Or code BOGO to buy one and get one pair free.
SwiftEyewear:
Get your first pair FREE! A ton of frames to choose from, 30 at the time of post, and ordering is really easy. Shipping is $20, but for a full set of glasses, that’s not bad at all. I will say their site is not the most user-friendly to navigate, but they do have a large selection of frames for women and men. The available glasses that are not the free pair aren’t cheap – the average is about $89 from what I can tell. So it’s more along the pricing of Warby Parker. But still better than your franchise glasses shop!
VogueMe:
If you’re on the hunt for some funky and not-your-usual frames, this is your spot. Frames start at $6.95, and there’s something for everyone. Free shipping over $50, or $4.95 otherwise. I love all the vintage frame offerings, and how many different colors and styles are offered. VogueMe has an entire coupon page that includes promos like Buy One Get One Free!
Warby Parker:
You know I love Warby Parker’s At Home Try-On (see all my at-home try-on posts here). You get five frames to try on in the comfort of your own home, for a week! And shipping both ways is free. Warby Parker has amazing quality at great prices. Although more expensive than others on this list, the At Home Try-On program’s free option and prices that start at $94 keep them in the running. Plus, for every pair you purchase, one is donated to someone in need!
Wherelight:
Glasses start at $6.95 for women, men, and kids! Free shipping on orders over $49, or $4.95 otherwise. Wherelight has a TON of affordable styles for everyone in the family. And right now, take 30% off and get a free gift package, which includes a $6 coupon for your next order with code new30.
Yesglasses:
Frames start at $39 for men and women that include free Hi-Index lenses. Shipping starts at $5.95, and yes glasses provide a 12-month warranty for their products. Make sure to check their sale page to get some great discounts. And right now they’re offering a 30% student discount, which is perfect for back to school!
Zeelool:
Glasses start at $10 for men and women. Shipping is $4.95, or free on orders over $69. Zeelool has a ton of frames, in both classic and funky options and lots of colors to choose from as well. Make sure to check out their coupon page! You’ll find promotions like buy one get one 50% off. And if you sign up for their email list, you get a coupon for $4 off your order!
Zenni Optical:
With prices starting at $6.95, there are many reasons to love Zenni. In fact, I wrote a whole post about Zenni Optical and How to Buy Glasses Online! Shipping starts at $4.95, and the last pair I ordered from there was under $15 total – including frames, lenses, and shipping! There are options for everyone in the family, including kids. And they have a helpful try-on tool, as well as customer photos so you can see what others look like in the frames.
