Do you need more than one pregnancy app? Ha, probably not! But I love having multiple. I’ve found that each pregnancy app has slightly different information and gives me different nuggets of knowledge. I know it’s my third pregnancy, but I still can’t seem to read enough about this baby and it’s development.
Plus, let’s be honest. As it’s my third child, some days go by where I totally forget I’m pregnant or I can’t remember what week or month I’m on.
With that being said – here are the top recommendations for the best pregnancy apps. Recommended BY pregnant moms, FOR pregnant moms. You can go wrong with any of these!

280 days:
Super cute illustrations, and the ability to use with single or multiple pregnancy too! Has tabs for a ton of information on baby, things mom will be experiencing, a place to write things down in your “diary”, and to log health information as well! They also have a really cute feature that allows you to create a memory book after baby is born.
Baby Center:
One thing that I really like about BC is that they continue to send you email updates teaching you things about upcoming milestones once baby is here! Plus the forums are AMAZING for information and talking to other moms. But one of my favorite things is the ability to use the picture editor to add stickers to your pregnancy! Then at the end you can make a slideshow of all your baby bump photos!
Flo:
One of the things people loved most was being able to transition from using Flo as a conception app to using it as a pregnancy app! It’s very simple and very easy to use. Plus you have the ability to use with a multiple pregnancy. I love that the Flo app has a reminder notification – which is SUPER helpful if you’re like me and have a tendency to forget your prenatal / medications.
Glow Nurture:
I was using Glow as a part of my TTC journey, and switched to Nurture once pregnant. They give a ton of info each week and have an awesome baby animation. You can see symptoms, track how much water you’re getting and your prenatal / medication intake too! Able to use with multiple pregnancy too!
Hello Belly:
This app was created by the Hello Baby company, and is SO cute. I love that it has the option for dad’s / partners to use it as well, so they can prepare for baby right alongside you. You get 3D visualisations of how baby is growing and they are so beautifully lifelike. As well as the basics, like what’s going on with you and your body and baby each week. I LOVE the checklists and the mommy yoga too!
HiMommy:
Aanother super cute app that updates you DAILY about baby’s growth. It gives you an estimate of how big baby is each week, both weight and length, and tells you all the basics on baby’s development. PLUS it syncs with “Hi Daddy” so you and your partner can both be kept up to date and informed easily.
Ovia:
I love all the questions they ask! And how interactive it is. They share a ton of details which is really nice. You get daily updates and each week you see how big baby’s hands andf feet are getting. My kiddos love the different options of seeing how big baby is that week – animals, games, foods, and parisian sweets! I love that I can search medications to make sure they’re pregnancy friendly. Able to use with multiple pregnancy too!
Pregnancy+:
Has the COOLEST interactive CG images of baby while growing. It’s been awesome to see it progress as it would in the womb. There are so many options to use with this app – weekly notes, adding your schedule and appointments, baby name suggestions, tips and tricks and more. This is definitely a favorite with my birth month group!
Pregnancy Today Baby Tracker:
A very simple app to use and navigate. I love that it shows the percentage of the trimesters. For example, when I was 10w6d pregnant, I was 84% of the way through my first trimester. It really helped when I was sick AF at the beginning and knew how close I was to some hopeful relief. Plus, it gives you a guess of baby’s weight and size, as well as day’s to go and which trimester you’re currently in!
Sprout Pregnancy:
I love how much info it gives you! It shows you the baby as it grows and the heartbeat! The 3D images are unparalleled and Sprout even shows you baby moving as it would in your womb. One of Time Magazine’s “Top 50 Apps of the Year”, so you know it’s good. You get new information everyday about you and baby, and one of my favorite parts is the pregnancy journal with a free PDF that you can print off at the end.
The Bump:
Great for singleton or multiple pregnancy. I love that it tells you everyday how big your baby is! Also has a great forum and real time answers to every question you could ever have during pregnancy. The Bump also has a really great section full of baby products and reviews, which is super helpful, especially for first time parents just starting out.
What To Expect:
A wealth of knowledge in a single app! I love that WTE has a community of other parents with due dates in the same month. So you can have a built in support group of women going through the same things you are. Daily tips, weekly development information as well as a weekly video of baby, food ideas, and more. Plus, after baby is born, the app continues with helpful hints, tips, and tricks for life throughout baby’s first year!
