Madewell at the Village of Meridian opened a few days ago and woah. It’s just as beautiful as I could have ever imagined! The employees are incredibly helpful, and were super sweet.
J and I dragged Zach along with us, and found way too much good stuff right off the bat. Madewell is currently a haven for all things Fall and winter. And that color palette. So. Good.
I am 11.5 weeks pregnant, and probably wearing between an 8 and 10 in mainstream women’s sizing right now, chest size is super swollen, ha. Probably at least 34DDD? Still a pretty solid Medium. So keep that in mind that I have a small bump in all these! (Also… I’m legit showing as much as I was at almost 18w with H. This subsequent pregnancy showing earlier thing is no joke!)
Madewell: Village at Meridian Try On
Donegal Belmont Mockneck Sweater in Coziest Yarn I had a really hard time deciding between the Donegal snow or the golden harvest. But Zach picked snow, and it’s perfect. The texture is amazing, it’s really unique, and I love the loose fitting mock neck. Wearing a Medium in the white, and a Large in the golden for sizing reference! Bought the snow!
9″ High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Berkeley Black: Button-Through Edition If I wasn’t pregnant, even Zach said I needed them. Button fly is my favorite on high rise denim, and I loved the raw hem. Note about sizing – these do run about 2 sizes too big! I grabbed a 30 and they were huge, and could have easily still squeezed into a 28, even with my bump. But dang they make your rear look amazing. And they’re top rated!
Embroidered Cutoff Sweatshirt So cute! I’m obsessed with both the color and the embroidery. And the raw rolled hem is awesome. A little cropped, and perfect for easy front tucks. Fits super TTS, wearing a size Medium.
Cardiff Striped Crewneck Sweater in Coziest Yarn: Zach may not have loved this, but I do! The second I put this sweater on, I just felt happy. It’s vintage, it’s a classic, and its super soft. This came home with me! Wearing a Medium.
9″ High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Larkspur Wash: Tencelâ„¢ Edition Loved how these felt on! So easy to move around and “mom” in, and the Tencel means they’ll hold their shape. Fits super TTS, and the dark wash is super versatile.
CENTRAL SHIRT IN PURE WHITE I swear this looks so cute on everyone, but I just couldn’t get it to look right on me. I’m thinking if this lump wasn’t out front, it’d be a little easier ha. But the fabric is amazing. Crisp, but not stuffy, and easy to move in! Runs TTS.
Camden Sweater-Coat Okay, if we weren’t about to move to California, this would have come home with me. In fact, Zach tried to convince me to buy both this and the next sweater coat. The deep green is a perfect neutral, and it’s just a beautiful, classic coat. I had to size down to a small – runs big!
SPENCER SWEATER-COAT Loved it from the second I put it on, and it was Zach’s favorite out of everything. I sized down to a small – it’s definitely relaxed, and the M just looked more frumpy than purposeful. Color is amazing, the perfect camel, and I never want to take it off. This one definitely found its way home with me.
HEATHER LONG-SLEEVE BUTTON-FRONT DRESS buttons are functional, great for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum! I stuck with a medium for sizing. I can definitely see it accommodating a large bump, and being super flattering for postpartum. Rolling the sleeves a few times made it feel more casual, great with tights and jackets. Bought it!
