Holy amazing, you guys. Last night I was invited to come tour and spend the night at the BRAND SPANKIN NEW Stay Alfred at The Fowler. And it was incredible. I almost don’t even know where to start when talking about this beautiful extended stay hotel in the heart of downtown Boise, ID. The location is in close proximity to some, if not all, of the best, that the downtown has to offer. How close? Fork, one of my favorite Boise restaurants, is a 5 minute walk. The Wylder, a ridiculously delicious pizza place and Form and Function, an incredible coffee shop, are literally right downstairs.

Stay Alfred is also a 5-minute walk to the BoDo shopping area! BoDo offers a Regal movie theatre, shopping, and a ton of restaurants. Basically, no matter what you’re in the mood to do, no matter what you’re in the mood to eat/see/shop/whatever, Stay Alfred is in walking distance of it all. A note: even with being centrally located in the downtown area, the rooms and all of Stay Alfred is incredibly quiet.

Let’s chat about the rooms. First, you have two options: one bed, one bath that will only cost you $69 a night. YEP. You read that right. Your other option is a 2 bed, 2 baths for  $129 per night. I still can’t get over how cheap it is. I mean, it’s totally luxury. West Elm and very high-end furnishings, and the rooms are super spacious. You’re basically paying motel rates for a very upscale, very high-end boutique rental. It’s crazy. But I digress. The 1 bed sleeps 1 – 3 people, and the 2 bed sleeps up to 5. We had a King bed in our one bedroom last night (which was insanely comfortable by the way), and the couch in the living room pulled out to become the second bed. 

The rooms are just beautiful. Very mid-century with an eclectic vibe. There are HUGE windows that let in so much natural lighting. And as a bonus the views of Boise and Julia Davis park sure don’t hurt. I literally wanted to find a way to take the entire living room home with me, ha. The black and white graphic wallpaper in the living room was the stuff dreams are made of. 

Bringing kids with you? Great! Stay Alfred is right by the Discovery Center, JUMP, Boise Art Museum, the Boise Zoo and a huge park. So if you’re looking for a great family friendly downtown Boise rental, definitely check Stay Alfred out!

Stay Alfred Amenities

Get ready for a ginormous laundry list of awesomeness that you get to enjoy as a Stay Alfred renter. Inside The Fowler, you have access to a coffee bar, a community kitchen, a huge fitness center that is very well stocked with equipment and anything you could need while working out. There is also an open concept work area, a beautiful outdoor grill and picnic patio areas, a lounge area that has shuffleboard (!!!), and valet dry cleaning service. Plus, they have hugenormous mirrors that are perfect for taking solo and family selfies, haha. 

Worried about safety?

Stay Alfred is like Fort Knox. Not only do they have a secure package system, but everything is designed to only allow for renters to have access. The key retrieval and drop off system is the stuff you see in movies. You use a secure code to unlock and release your keys, and you must have your key card to access the building after 5 pm, or to use the elevators on the first floor! Y’all know I’m a little crazy sometimes. So it was wonderful to put my anxious-worst-case-scenario-self at ease and could feel really safe away from home.

Think I’m done with the amenities?

I’m not! Stay Alfred has even more offerings in their rooms. In your room, you’ll find central AC and heating – and let me tell you. When it’s over 95 degrees outside and you’re basically melting into a giant puddle, the Stay Alfred AC cools down the room insanely fast. You also have a coffee machine, dishwasher, free cable and free wifi! Forget your toiletries? No worries. Stay Alfred has plenty of free toiletries. There’s also a WASHER AND DRYER IN THE ROOM, along with an iron and ironing board, and extra linens. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware, a full oven and stovetop, a large fridge/freezer, toaster and microwave. And my husband was really excited to see the Smart TV that is standard in all of Stay Alfred’s rooms!

And the people! I can’t forget the people. Part of our hosted stay was a little cocktail hour meet and greet, so we got the chance to talk with some of the people who work at Stay Alfred. Crystal, the City Manager and Madeleine, the Marketing Specialist and they were just really really wonderful people. They had so much pride and excitement about their jobs and this new Stay Alfred extended stay rental location. I always feel like the way a company’s employees talk about their jobs says a lot. And Stay Alfred’s employees were speaking volumes!

I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting or leaving out. Because there is just so much that Stay Alfred has to offer. But I was so so so impressed with our stay I just had to share.
