Third Trimester Maternity Style
This casual long grey maxi dress is perfect for summer, and is so easy to dress up or down. For a dinner out with my two favorite guys, I threw on some comfortable and stylish Dolce Vita neutral wedges, and a few coral bracelets. In case it gets chilly in the restaurant, my new Boppy Infinity Nursing Scarf gives me a little extra coverage. My tiny tornado, H, is wearing quite possibly the cutest Hawaiian-esque set from Little Me.
We took these photos with Toni of Sydney Studios & Co in the cutest little area downtown. H was loving all the cars and bikes that were passing us by, and kept “ooh”ing and “aah”ing over every motor-enabled thing that he saw. Getting him to stand still to actually be in pictures is quite the adventure these days, so having the cars go by was an awesome distraction (for about .2 seconds before he took off running the other way…).
How adorable is his ‘Palm Tree’ Woven Shirt and Chambray Shorts Set from Little Me?! Oh my gosh, when I saw this set on their website, I literally gave a little giggle and knew I had to have it for H. The reddish stripes on the woven button up with the little Palm Tree print is so crazy cute, that I want it in every single possible color. I mean, come on – it’s so quintessentially summer, it’s just perfection! The chambray shorts are some of our current favorites, as they go with everything, but I do have one complaint: the combo of the short sleeve button up and shorts makes him look WAY too grown up!
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve basically given up on pants of any kind. With how ginormous both my belly and hips have gotten (don’t let these pictures from a few weeks ago fool you – I am officially so huge that people continually ask me if I’m having multiples), dresses are my go-to wardrobe staple for third trimester maternity style.
I am all about easy breezy dresses to make the third trimester as comfortable as possible, and this Gray Space Dye Knit Maternity Maxi Dress does just the trick! I love this Gray Space Dye Knit Maternity Maxi Dress from Seraphine, because it’s so so so soft, and so easy to throw on, no matter what the occasion. The space dye knit gives a marled fabric appearance, and helps separate this summer maxi from any ole grey dress I already have in my closet.
I kept things super simple for accessorizing, as it’s summertime and summer is all about being minimal in my mind. These Dolce Vita tan and white Lola Wedge Sandals are currently on heavy rotation in my closet, and I love the combination of the white faux snake print with the neutral tan color. The wedge is low enough that I don’t feel like I’m towering over people (I’m about 5ft11in in my bare feet, so anything more than flats typically intimidate me!), but still elevates the look in a simple, chic way.
Because our restaurants like to overcompensate for the crazy heat wave and blast their AC indoors (which I love), I grabbed my new Boppy Infinity Nursing Scarf to start “breaking it in” before baby Bear gets here. I’m not usually one to cover when I nurse, as H used to hate having his face covered and not being able to see me, but this new nursing cover from Boppy is pretty awesome. It has a sheer panel at the top so that you can see baby, and baby can see you, and the button on strap means a super quick and easy on and off. Plus, this modal fabric is so soft and cozy, and looks great worn as an infinity scarf when not feeding baby (or when baby is still cooking and you’re rocking it maternity style)!

This is so adorable! You and your little did a great job modeling the clothing. I don't have children, but a lot of my friends are pregnant right now, so I will be sure to share with them 🙂
