Warby Parker’s At Home Try On Program #3

If it’s not apparent by now, I’m a total Warby Parker addict, and I don’t care who knows it! The buyers remorse stricken, indecisive person that I am, I love that I’m on my 3rd At Home Try On box, and they have not pressured me to buy a single one of the frames I’ve tried. 

 
For my third time around, I decided to try out five different frames from Warby Parker’s new Spring 2016 line. The colors were what first drew me in, as they are bold and unique, and I like that they add a little more pizzaz to my every day life:
 

The Haskell in Crystal with Manzanita

Simple, yet gorgeous. Warby Parker suggests the Haskell for narrow faces, which I do not have, at all, but I had to try on these super trendy frames with a keyhole bridge. I love the crystal outer frames with the little peekaboo of a light amber tortoise on the inner rims. I’ve never been that big of a fan of clear or crystal frames, so the fact that I actually liked these Haskell frames was a bit of a surprise!
A deep, matte navy blue and a simple rectangular frame drew me to the Crane glasses in Atlantic Blue. The blue is so deep it almost seems black, but not quite, and the sizing is slightly oversized, but not obnoxiously so. They are definitely a really wearable frame for everyday, and they kind of remind me of those pair of dark was jeans that go with everything. Crane is most certainly going on my list of likes! 
 

Laurel in Peacock Green

The Laurel is not a new frame for me. I tried it out in my last box in the Oak Barrel coloring, but this time around I wanted to try Warby Parker’s new Peacock Green, spring color. These are just sassy enough, thanks to the rounded, almost vintage-like frame style, and the gorgeous teal-ish color gives just enough of a pop of fun color to make them stand out. If you have a roundish oval face like myself, you will definitely want to check the Laurel frames out!
 

Kennett in Atlantic Blue

Another frame in the Atlantic Blue, the Kennett frames also have the keyhole bridge that I think are so adorably hip. The difference with the Kennett frames, however, is that they are far more rounded, especially along the browline, and almost tilt downwards. I had a feeling these would not be super flattering on my face, although Warby Parker does suggest these frames for wide faces, but I couldn’t resist adding them to my At Home Try On box, just because. The down-sloping angles just don’t do anything for me, but I am still glad I tried them!
 
If a vintage, pin up look is what you’re going for, then the Finch is exactly the frame for you. For Spring, I wanted to try the Bellini color – a light champagne peach shade that is the perfect light neutral. These frames are so ridiculously cute, and I think they would be adorable on a more petite face. I do wish these Finch frames photographed better, though! They were actually really cute on in real life, and were husband-approved (which is no easy feat), but the photos don’t do them justice!

 

Overall, my favorites from this box are easily the Laurel frames.

I love the blueish green hue of the Peacock Green, and I think the size and style of the frames actually fit my face shape really well. The Crane frames are a close second, but the Hubs thinks they are a little too harsh, however, he does love the Haskell frames and is trying to convince me that the Crystal with manzanita coloring would be something I would get used to.

    Having social anxiety I am always looking for ways to avoid leaving my house, this program is epic! I can try on glasses and make a decision without even leaving the house, count me in.

    I love the frames. It's so cool that you can just try those on and wait for a new set after. The blue ones are my favorite! They look really lovely on you.

    I am up to have my eye vision refraction, I think I need a pair of glasses now. And, this is just the right blog for me and get me the right info about the brand. I like the Crane frames, it will suit me.
