A few months back I shared with you one of my favorite new beauty products – Farmacy Beauty’s Hydrating Coconut Gel Masks (check it out here). Since then, I’ve also tried their Brightening (purple broccoli) coconut gel mask and it was heavenly. Because of my positive experience with their all natural skincare line, I was really excited to try out Farmacy Beauty’s brand new product: New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains.
Taking care of my skin and pampering myself on a more regular basis is something I’m trying to make sure I have time for everyday. When you look good, you feel good, and I know it sounds vain, but the better my skin looks the more confident I feel, and the more confident I feel the happier I am.
New Day gentle exfoliating grains with Echinacea GreenEnvy from Farmacy Beauty is a potent one-stop-shop kind of cleanser. In just one step, your skin is not only cleansed, but also exfoliated and clarified, and my skin is noticeably fresher looking overall – which is pretty impressive in this dry winter weather. This gentle exfoliator uses naturally derived ingredients: a combination of natural cranberry seeds, rice bran powder, white willow bark, carrot, green tea and marshmallow. It is a very cool face washing experience, as the New Day gentle exfoliating grains start out as a powder like substance, but transform into a foaming cream when it comes into contact with water.
The cranberry seeds are like tiny little powerhouses that deep clean my face and lift away dead skin cells, leftover makeup, and any other surface debris so that my skin looks and feels cleaner, but they don’t feel rough or scratchy on my sensitive skin. You know that super popular apricot scrub? Everytime I try to use that, my poor skin is left raw and red. This New Day cleanser is above and beyond more gentle, but it still manages to pack a skin clearing punch.
What the cranberry seeds don’t loosen, the rice bran powder does. My super oily T-zone is no match for the rice bran powder’s absorption, but it doesn’t over dry out the rest of my combination skin either. White willow bark, carrot, green tea and marshmallow are the soothing ingredients that help to both calm and protect, something I have definitely noticed, as my skin gets really chapped and dried out once the snow hits.
If your skin is too sensitive for typical exfoliators, I literally cannot recommend this cleanser highly enough! My zones are far less extremes of oily and dry, and my toner and moisturizer seem to absorb faster and more fully with these New Day gentle exfoliating grains. Even without makeup, my face seems clearer and overall more even toned as well and I am very happy with my results!
Like the masks, this cleanser is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates and is free of formaldehyde and artificial color. In addition, Farmacy Beauty takes pride in only using naturally derived ingredients, and never tests their products on animal.
Farmacy beauty can be found on their website, in Sephora stores and online, and on QVC!
Do you use an exfoliating cleanser and are you happy with your results? How does this New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains with Echinacea GreenEnvy from Farmacy Beauty sound to you?
