Yep, thats a Burger King paper crown that H is rocking. He has become obsessed with wearing hats of all kinds, and for some reason this one is his current favorite! Oh toddlerhood, what a silly and goofy time you are!
I’m still all about the lightweight nursing cover from Cover Me Ponchos I talked about in Monday’s introduction post. It was almost 100*F today, and the fabric is so light and breezy that I didn’t get hot at all. Breathability is huge when it comes to a cover, because I never want H to get overheated while he’s nursing, as it’ll cause him to get super ornery and nobody wants to see that! Once you experience the difference between Mariah’s ponchos and one of those apron styles, you’ll never look back. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – I seriously wish I had discovered this so much earlier in our breastfeeding relationship, it would have been a huge help in making the beginning stages of nursing in public so much less awkward and embarrassing.
I am also still amazed at how chic the poncho looks, regardless of how I’m wearing it. The photographs don’t do this coral coloring justice – it is such a beautiful shade that would compliment any coloring, and coral seems to be one of those hues that can work all year round! Obviously I’m wearing another one of my The Vintage Honey Shop necklaces, because the two are a perfect pairing, regardless of whether you’re breastfeeding or formula feeding.

I love the laughter in these photos. Whoever took them did a great job of capturing the moment. I remember using cover ups and wishing they were more breathable. This sounds like a great product.
