This has has been on major repeat lately (as seen here and here), and I’m not even sorry about it. It is the perfect amount of floppy and the exactly right size for my noggin, two things that don’t happen often – especially simultaneously! I bought this Free People flowy skort from Nordstrom Rack like maybe three or four years ago when I worked at Nordstrom and had serious problems keeping myself from indulging in my employee discount. It is seriously one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I own. Its soft and silky and while it feels like I’m wearing pajama shorts, they’re definitely more socially acceptable and way easier to dress up!
The Gibson blazer is another indulgence from my Nordstrom days, and the perfect amount of “I borrowed this from my super hip grampa”. Layered over a plain white tank and accessorized with my SLATE Marble Triangle Necklace and Nakamol Mixed Crystals Coral & Gold Leather Wrap Bracelet that I got in my latest Rocksbox (use code ‘shannonbff207′ to get your first month free), I’m kind of obsessed with the resulting look. I’ve never been huge into neutrals but something about this outfit has become a quick favorite. I love that the tweed blazer gives a little structure to the feminine flow of the skort, and loose fitting tank.
