Notice anything a little different? I just chopped off almost s-i-x inches of hair – insert scream face emoji. I was feeling a little static and in need of a change, so I headed to my favorite hairdresser [seriously though, if you’re ever in the Boise area, you need to go to Victoria, aka: Tori, at Lunatic Fringe. She is amazing!] and told her I wanted something different and I left the salon 3.5 hours later feeling like a new woman! Isn’t it amazing what a little pampering and a great haircut can do for your outlook on life? I literally and figuratively feel so much lighter and now all my sad and stringy ends are where they belong: in the garbage and off my shoulders.
An unexpected bonus to getting the “mom chop”? Hats and headbands / turbans are so much fun and look completely different!

Ahhh I always THINK about cutting my hair or doing something diff….I used to have it short though and it was so much to keep up with cutting so often. And its taken 6 years to get it long again….So I guess long, straight and boring is a signature look.
