When I think of Spring Break, I think of breezy + light dresses, sandals, and sunny days.
So why is it still cold in Idaho?! Get your act together, potato-ville!
As we’ll be stopping in Nashville, Tennessee this year for our Spring Break vacation (I can still call it that even though I’m not in college anymore – right?), I wanted to channel a laid-back and boho kind of vibe. I can totally see myself wearing this combo while strolling around downtown during the Music City Bites & Sites Day Tour and grabbing some lunch and libations with my dudes. I think the Man in Black (that’s Johnny Cash, FYI) would definitely approve of my visiting his museum in this little LBD!
This Richie Shift Dress is so versatile, I could easily stow the shades in the Crossbody, add a smoky eye and switch out the shoes to make it appropriate to catch an after-hours show at Bluebird Cafe (although I don’t see that happening as finding a babysitter in a town where we don’t know anyone is definitely not happening). At under $60, I would say this is a total closet staple. Because it is a flowy and relaxed fit, it would also work it as a maternity piece – which means more bang for your buck! I could see myself wearing this all. year. round. In the fall / winter I would pair it with a chunky cardigan, an oxblood scarf, opaque tights and riding boots, and in the summer I would wear it as shown, or for Spring I’d add a jean jacket and floppy brimmed hat and switch out the sandals for ankle boots.
I am kind of having a fringe moment right now, so when I saw the Jesslyn Blake Carli Fringe Leather Crossbody Bag on DailyLook’s website, I fell hard. Yes, it’s totally out of my SAHM budget right now, but it’s always good to set goals, right?! Along with this simple and gorgeous Arrowhead Bolo Necklace, and the pop of color from these Dirty Laundry Beebop Thong Sandal, it’s the perfect finishing touch to finalize the boho vibe, and add some serious texture and interest to the outfit.
How would you style this LBD?

I love this look altogether, especially the dress and the sandals you paired with it. They stand out against a solid, black canvas!
