Organic Seeds Sprouter Review

My crunchy self LOVED this easy-to-use Organic Seeds for Sprouter Mix from Vremi! There are 4 different options to choose from on Amazon: Green (broccoli sprouts), Multi (beet, mustard and broccoli), Pink (beet), Red (radish) and finally Yellow (mustard). I am terrible at making decisions, especially when faced with broccoli, beets and radish sprouts, as I love them all, so I was really excited to see that Vremi offered a kit perfect for indecisive people like me, with a trio of beet, mustard and broccoli sprouts.

My order came really fast and was packaged perfectly – no harm was done to the box or the seeds. The packaging itself is really pretty, and I’ve actually kept the box for a later project because it was too cute to throw out! The plethora of seeds were in individual baggies, and I was shocked at how many beet, broccoli and mustard seeds were in the kit – in other sprouting kits that I’ve seen you’re only given about 25% of the amount of seeds that are in this kit by Vremi, which make the frugalista in me overjoyed. I love that you’re getting such a great value from this kit.

As far as the sprouting goes – I received this kit on a Thursday afternoon, set it up on Friday morning in my pantry, and to my happy shock, by Monday I had actual sprouts! I found that a mason jar with a paper towel worked really really well for the sprouting process, as I don’t have an actual sprouter. I kept the seeds in my pantry, which is on the warmer side and is dark 90% of the time (both suggested environments), which I think is why my seeds sprouted so fast.

After the seeds sprouted, I rinsed and drained them, and then put them in the vegetable drawer in my refrigerator – but they didn’t last long! I added the beet, mustard and broccoli sprouts to a kale salad and loved the complex flavors they added (and love all the health benefits that were added as well). In addition to the health and flavor benefits, the beet sprouts in particular are GORGEOUS and added a really fun pop of red color to my dishes!
