1.What is your favorite aspect of blogging?
Blogging has been so cathartic for me. I kind of dabbled in it in the past, but once I got pregnant (and even more so after Harrison was born) I had so much to say and needed somewhere I could put my thoughts down. I have a ridiculous amount of drafts on my dashboard that haven’t been (and probably never will be) posted that are midnight ramblings of a pregnant person and new mom.

2.What is one country in the world you would like to visit and why?
New Zealand has been on my bucket list since I was in Middle School! I used to sit in computer lab and google images of NZ and make lists of everywhere I wanted to go and everything I wanted to do there. My mom actually promised me a trip to New Zealand as a graduation present in 9th grade, but life got in the way and I was unable to go. It is such a beautiful country with so much natural diversity and I would love to take Harrison when he’s older and can appreciate it more.

3.If you have children, what are their names?
I have one son, Harrison Edwin, who will be ONE on the 14th. Holy yikes.

4. A long lost relative leaves you a large sum of money. What do you do with it?
Easy – travel! Zach and I talk about this all the time when we indulge in buying lottery tickets. I would, of course, save a good amount, but I’m learning as I get older that experience is so much more important than material objects. I have so many fond memories of the world traveling I was fortunate enough to do with my parents as I was growing up and there are so many places left to explore!

5. What is your favorite food?
This is where I might sound a little crazy: oven roasted brussels sprouts yum. I don’t know what it is about them, but I can’t get enough!

6. Coffee, tea or neither?
Both! Bold roast plain black coffee and plain green tea are my morning ritual.

7. What is your dream job?
If you would have asked me a few months ago, I would have easily said either an Elementary School counselor or Special Education teacher, however lately I’m really really happily content with being a stay at home mom, and would love to continue until we decide we’re done having kids and they’re all in school.

8. What is your all-time favorite movie?
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, My Fair Lady and The Sandlot are tied!

9. Where is your favorite place to shop online?
Does Instagram count? I have fallen down the rabbit hole that is IG shopping!

10. What are some of your other hobbies?
I love crafting in all aspects – sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. Now that Harrison is getting older I’m starting to have more time to devote to crafting and just finished his baby quilt and a quilt for my husband!
