I have to say I was a little hesitant about Jammy Jams’ Pop Goes Lullaby 4. I am not a fan of kid’s versions of things, especially those certain CDs that take current hits and remake them with groups of kids singing instead of the original artists. Ouch.
Jammy Jams is not your average kid’s music. At all. In fact, there have been many times I’ve caught myself listening to the 10 different lullaby renditions when H wasn’t even there with me! #momlife
H’s favorites to rock and cuddle to are Cool Kids (track 1), Shake It Off (track 2), and I’m Not the Only One (track 5). We usually listen to these sweet tunes before bedtime while nursing and rocking, and I love humming along to the pretty instrumentals and watching my little Hulk bebe’s eyes get sleepy.
It’s also super awesome for car rides when you’re out frantically running errands and time is getting away from you and all of a sudden you realize the reason why your bebe is melting down is because his nap should have started 30 minutes ago… I just hit play on my iPhone and connect it to my car’s stereo and it’s an instant meltdown stopper! Major win!
Andplusalso? This is the only time I’ve ever enjoyed a Pitbull song – there’s something I never thought I’d say! And Jammy Jams‘ version of All About That Bass doesn’t make my ears bleed either – yay!
From Jammy Jams: Who’s got the coolest kid in the nursery? YOU do! Because you play your baby “Pop Goes Lullaby 4” to rock them to sleep every night. Jammy Jams’ latest release features lullaby renditions of pop songs currently in the charts. Hits by Meghan Trainor, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith and more transformed into beautiful instrumental lullabies.
