Toddler Approved Peach Smoothie I’ve shared some of our favorite toddler approved green smoothies before, but I like to mix it up for H every so often so he doesn’t get bored of his daily drink. He’s definitely starting to get more picky about what he will and won’t eat, so a smoothie is a great way to sneak in some healthy goodness to what he thinks is just a sweet and yummy snack! My parents took H to a vineyard and fruit orchard this past weekend, so we are swimming in peaches. I’m definitely not complaining as peaches are basically the best summer fruit out there, but my waistline is hurting after enjoying so many of the peach crumbles that we love, so it was time to mix it up and enjoy them in a little healthier of a way.

Toddler Approved Green Smoothie Recipe Ideas: If you follow me on Instagram, you know that H hasn’t always been the best eater. At our recent 15 month checkup, his pediatrician asked me to really start pushing solids. He said at this age, H needs to be nursing less and eating more ‘real’ food. I started using my Nutribullet (my favorite of all 4 of my blenders) to make him a giant batch of a fruit and veggie smoothie in the morning and refill his Nuby No Spill™ Two Handle Super Straw Grip N Sip™ as he finishes them throughout the day! This Nuby No Spill so far is my favorite cup for […]
Tis the season for stuffy noses and colds, so I do anything and everything I can to try and boost my immune system. There are three major antioxidant vitamins that are loaded with nutrients that are great for you and your health: beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E. While you can find them in colorful fruits and veggies (especially purple, blue, red, orange and yellow varieties), it never hurts to find a natural and organic, food-based vitamin company to ensure you’re getting enough. NutriGold is easily one of my favorite companies, not only because of their organic and natural products but also because of their great company values. They sent me a complimentary sample of their Vitamin C Gold vegetable capsules to test out and review, and I am loving the health benefits I’m reaping from taking these daily. Where to find these immunity boosters// Beta-carotene: apricots, asparagus, beets, broccoli, cantaloupe, carrots, corn, green peppers, kale, mangoes, turnip and collard greens, nectarines, peaches, pink grapefruit, pumpkin, squash, spinach, sweet potato, tangerines, tomatoes, and watermelon Vitamin C: berries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cantaloupe, cauliflower, grapefruit, honeydew, kale, kiwi, mango, nectarine, orange, papaya, snow peas, sweet potato, strawberries, tomatoes, and red, green, or […]
