A little while ago, I shared a photo of Pampered Mommy Box on my Instagram feed – a new subscription service that is catered specifically for moms. I got a ton of positive feedback asking where people could buy and asking for more information, and you all seemed to love the boxes you received as well. I didn’t get to order a February box in time, but the pictures I saw had me wishing I wasn’t so bad at procrastinating – that throw looked super cozy and my lips are definitely in need of that scrub!
I made sure to have everything ready this time to receive the March box, and I am so happy I did, as this might be my favorite box yet! Before I get into the goods, if this sounds like something you’d like to try out, make sure you order your Pampered Mommy Box before 4/19 to get April’s box! At $29.99 for the month-by-month option (with a bundle discount available!), it is definitely one of the more affordable subscription boxes out there!
So, what exactly is in a Pampered Mommy Box? Each box is full of a wide variety of beauty, bath, lifestyle, health, wellness and mom-centered gifts. Although, honestly, I can see even women who don’t consider themselves a “mommy” loving these subscription boxes.
First off, can we discuss the packaging: it’s hot pink with white text and decorations all over – definitely not your average mailbox inhabitant. I love opening my mailbox and seeing the brightly colored box amidst the bills and junk mail that I normally collect, it’s like an instant smile in my mailbox and gives me something to look forward to before noon!
Although H is the residential package opener in our house (no, seriously, try to open a package around him and he will freak – homeboy loves him some flap opening!), I still get the excitement by proxy. Once you open your Pampered Mommy Box, everything is beautifully packed into the box, and it just goes to show how much time and effort the PMB people put into every detail. Atop all the wonderful contents is a welcome letter with details on each item that is included and why it was added to the box.
Without further ado, here’s what was in my March Pampered Mommy Box:
1. Jack and Ella To Do List ($6) and 2. Jessie Steele Pot Mitt ($9).
I am a chronic list maker and love having one next to the bed, but usually just grab a sheet of post-its. This Jack and Ella To Do List is so pretty, and definitely not boring! I like that it has actual check marks that I can tick off as I go, as it is visually so much nicer than the cross throughs on my normal lists. As a mom, I always have a million things going through my mind at once, so its super helpful to have a convenient way to stay more organized. While I’m still working on my wifey duties, particularly meal-making, the colors on this Jessie Steele Pot Mitt are perfect for summer and the practicality of keeping my hands from getting too hot or burned is always a good thing!
3. + 4. Greenwich Bay Kitchen Collective Coconut Lime & Ginger Hand Soap and Hand Lotion ($9.99)
We are big on hand washing in our home (hello life with a messy toddler), so obviously these are super practical. However, what I really like about this hand soap and hand lotion are that they actually live up to the luxurious claim. Both the hand soap and lotion have shea and coco butter, thyme leaf oil, essential oils and natural extracts, and the hand soap keeps our hands clean and moisturized and doesn’t dry them out. H is a big fan of spreading the hand lotion on his belly, which I’m totally ok with as the smell is divine without being overpowering.
5. Glo Minerals Cream Glaze Crayon in Heirloom ($16)
I am a lip balm addict, but haven’t found many other lip products that I can find myself wearing on a more daily basis. This Glo Minerals Cream Glaze Crayon has just enough color to help me feel put together on days where I’m feeling anything but, and the oversized crayon shape means even a makeup newbie like myself can easily apply it without goofing up. If you’re a fan of gloss, I would suggest you check these lip crayon’s out, as they leave a fancy shine that isn’t sticky. Enriched with antioxidants, Vitamins C an E, Mango Oil and Shea Butter, its a lip product I can definitely feel good about using. As an added bonus, there is a built in sharpener so it’s always handy, and you know I love that kind of convenience!
(not pictured) 6. Peeled Snacks Much Ado About Mango ($2.59)
I may have snacked on this dried mango while writing this post. Mango is my love language, and dried mango has been a go-to for this pregnancy for when I’m craving something sweet. I love that this doesn’t have any added sugar or preservatives, and is full of healthy vitamins and minerals so it makes Peeled Snacks an easy grab-and-go snack for both H and I.
The total overall retail value for my March Pampered Mommy Box was $50+, which is a pretty good return on my monthly fee of $29.99. I appreciate that literally everything in this month’s box was usable, even for a lower-maintainence person such as myself, because I’m way more into practical things these days as I hate to waste money. I definitely think I got my money’s worth, and I’m really excited to see what April’s box holds!
Does this seem like a box you might be interested in? Let me know if you pick one up (order yours here!) and what you think when you get it in your hands!
