Recipe // Turkey + Veggie Stir Fry

The Hubs and I love making this easy 'one-pot wonder', and have definitely been guilty of doubling the recipe so we have enough leftovers for the rest of the week. As an added bonus, this garlic ground turkey and veggie stir fry dish is one of the very very few that Hulk bebĂ© will actually eat - yay!

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbs fresh garlic, peeled and minced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped
  • 6 celery sticks, sliced
  • 1 pepper, sliced
  • Fish Sauce, to taste
  • Soy Sauce, to taste
  • *optional* Brown Rice & Quinoa
  1. Brown 1 lb of turkey over medium heat and add garlic.
  2. While turkey is browning, clean and cut up vegetables.
  3. Once turkey is cooked, add in a few dashes of soy sauce and fish sauce.
  4. Fold in carrots and let simmer. Repeat for broccoli, then celery and green peppers.
  5. Turn heat down and cover. Let this simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until all your veggies start to get soft.
  6. Serve over brown rice and quinoa (or alone) and enjoy!

Alpha Grillers recently sent me this awesomesauce Garlic Press And Peeler complimentary to test and review and it has totally changed this amateur cook's recipes! I used to always use that pre-diced garlic that you buy at the grocery store in the plastic or glass bottles with screw tops because peeling and dicing fresh garlic was kind of intimidating and, lets be honest, I'm lazy so I didn't want to have to go through the work of using fresh garlic.
Right off the bat, I at least knew it was going to be a good tool because it's the #1 Amazon seller in Garlic Peelers, which is no small feat. It comes beautifully packaged and ready to gift to your favorite home chef. Alpha Griller's Garlic Press And Peeler is so easy to use, right out of the box. After putting it through the dishwasher, I threw in a few cloves of garlic to see how difficult it would be to press in order to get it minced, and had no difficulties even when I filled the chamber to its maximum capacity. This has been a great addition to my kitchen tools, and I love how easy it has become to add fresh and flavorful garlic to all my recipes!
From Alpha Grillers:
DURABLE AND DISHWASHER SAFE. Since the press is made from solid, high quality stainless steel, and the peeler from tough FDA approved silicone, these kitchen gadgets will last as long as you need them and are perfectly safe to clean in the dishwasher.
MAKES A BEAUTIFUL GIFT. Not only is the Alpha Grillers Garlic Press a gorgeously designed kitchen tool, it comes in an elegant, fabric lined presentation case (check out the second image on the left). A perfect birthday or holiday present for anyone that loves to cook.
PRESS UNPEELED GARLIC AND GINGER. Thanks to the heavy duty construction and ergonomic design, you can easily mince both unpeeled garlic cloves and peeled ginger. What's more, there is next to no waste: garlic comes out, peel stays in.
WANT PEELED CLOVES FOR SLICING? NO PROBLEM! Crushed garlic is delicious and versatile, but sometimes you want to slice it up! Being the only press on Amazon to come with a garlic peeler, we've got you covered.
